We publish our own reviews, screenshots and data. If something on this site is yours and should not be here, this page is how you tell us — and what happens next.
What a complaint needs
Send the following to [email protected]. Anything missing slows the answer down, so it is worth being complete the first time:
- the exact URL of the material on this site, not just the page it sits on;
- a description of the original work, and where it can be seen if it is published elsewhere;
- your name, your role (owner, or agent acting for the owner) and an address we can reply to;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised;
- a statement that the information above is accurate, and your signature — typed is fine.
What we do with it
We acknowledge a complete complaint within two working days and act on it before we argue about it: the material comes down or is disabled while we look. The person who published it is told what was removed and why. If the material was supplied by an operator or a partner, they hear from us too.
If we removed your work by mistake
Send a counter-notice to the same address with the URL, what was removed, your contact details and a statement that you hold the rights or are permitted to use the material. We put it back unless the complainant starts court action and tells us so.
Repeat complaints
A source that generates repeated, valid complaints stops being a source: we remove its material and do not republish from it. That applies to partners and operators exactly as it applies to anyone else.
