What RTP actually tells you

RTP (return to player) is the long-run average a game pays back per unit wagered. A 96% slot keeps $4 of every $100 in bets over millions of spins — your single session can land anywhere. It is still the one number worth filtering by: over any horizon, a 97% game costs you half as much as a 94% one. Use the RTP pill in the filter bar above to switch between 95%+, 96%+ and 97%+ tiers.

The configurable-RTP trap

Many modern providers ship the same title in multiple RTP builds (e.g. 96.5% / 94.5% / 92.5%) and let each casino pick. The figure on our card is the provider's reference build; the lobby you play in may run lower. To check the live value, open the game's paytable or info screen inside the casino — licensed operators must display the active RTP there.

RTP is half the picture — volatility is the other half

Two 96% games can feel completely different: a low-volatility title drips small wins and stretches a bankroll; a high-volatility one starves you between rare big hits. Pair the RTP filter with the Volatility pill to match games to your bankroll size — high volatility wants 200+ spins of buffer, low volatility survives on 50.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a 96% RTP slot "due" to pay after a losing streak? +
No. Every spin is independent; RTP converges only over millions of rounds. A losing streak does not raise your next spin's odds — that belief is the gambler's fallacy.
Why does the same slot show different RTP at different casinos? +
Providers sell multiple RTP configurations of the same game and each operator licenses one. Always confirm the active value in the in-game info screen of the casino you play at.
Do table games have higher RTP than slots? +
Usually yes with optimal play: blackjack ~99.5%, baccarat banker ~98.9%, European roulette 97.3%. But bonuses often weight table games at 10–20%, so slots stay the wagering workhorse.
Where does BonusGrande get its RTP data? +
From provider spec sheets and certification summaries, synced into our catalog. Where a provider does not disclose RTP we mark it undisclosed rather than guessing.
